The furnace folks discuss where the new furnace will go. The ancient, oversized, under-floor electric furnace has already been chopped up and tossed onto the scrap heap along with its elder brother, which had years before been abandoned in the crawlspace because it was too large to pull out. The new, liquid-propane furnace will reside in the garage (where God intended furnaces to be) and will be swift and silent compared to the rattling behemoth from the crawlspace.
